Skyview (2800), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Aug 20, 2008 On draught at the Elysian brewery in Seattle, Washington. Pours a clear copper amber brew with a fast dissolving off-white head that leaves behind a thin off-white ring and film top. Aroma of sweet grapefruit zest, some biscuit malt, and a touch of apricots and herbs. Taste is medium bodied, lightly carbonated with flavors of multi-grain and biscuit malt, extra grapefruit zest and citrus hops, and a hint of toffee. Finish has a sharp bitter finish that slowly disappears in the aftertaste. Average IPA overall but qite good. ratman197 (2258), Arvada, Colorado, USA Aug 18, 2008 Bomber poured a clear copper weith a lingering ring of amber foam. Aromas of carmel, earthiness, pine, orange and light tropical fruit. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth with a slightly dry finish. Flavors of carmel, earthiness, light pine and light orange with a smooth lingering moderatly bitter finish. ucusty (1015), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA Aug 8, 2008 Clear gold pour. Fruity aroma mostly apricot and citrus zest. Crisp, clean, & hoppy flavor. slightly dry finish CaptBier (240), Birmingham, Alabama, USA Aug 3, 2008 Bottle. Clear deep golden. Aroma of mango and grapefruit. Dry with clean but bold mouthfeel. There are juicy hops, but it ends with ashy bitterness. A good, solid beer, but nothing that stands out amongst the IPAs in the PNW.
