Not that impressed with this beer. I expected it to have a bit more of a malt presence. It seemed too watered down for me. Dark color orange white head. Very light. Could have ahd a little kick! Pours thin black with small head and decent lacing. Flavor matches aroma with a fresh toasted malt finish. Palate is creamy. A good brew. aracauna (2391), Georgia, USA

Dark brown-copper color with a good sized beige head. The aroma was light with fruity and chocolate notes. Some sweet roasted malt as well and a hin of smoke. Flavor of dry dark chocolate and notes of raisins. Short dry finish with a light to medium body. harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 26, 2006 My second favorite so far. Lots of rich caramel maltiness, with some roastiness and a bit of dark wheat bread in there as well. Medium bodied, slightly sweet and toasty.
