Kiwi_Jonno (40), Christchurch, New Zealand Jun 18, 2008 500mL bottle. Med-hop aroma. Nothing overly special. Poured a amber beer that was a tad hazy. Ok head though and not bad lasting. Now carb beer. Complex hop tastes, smoother malt to start with, with a strong tingling bitterness to finish. Nice IPA. MBison (374), Southern Highlands, Australia Jun 15, 2008 Bottle (500ml). Poured hazy copper with small chunks of sediment and a large, rocky, off-white head which lasted well. Aroma was of fresh fruity hops with stonefruits, lemon zest, mandarin, biscuity malts, toffee and some salt. Flavor was a tangy citrus hop bitterness with toffee malts, stonefruits, lemon zest and a dry, salty, biscuit-like finish. Medium bodied with medium carbonation, a dry/creamy mouthfeel and a good finish. OJB (22), Dunedin, New Zealand May 7, 2008 The appearance was medium amber golden brown, with a strong head. There was a dry bitter yeasty aroma, and a strong hop flavour, and quite strong bitterness. This was a fresh hoppy style.
