yalnikim (647), Wellington, New Zealand Feb 17, 2008 Updated: Feb 19, 2008Tasted 30/11/2007. Zymergy (sic), Christchurch. Pint, on the rounds with BozoNZ. Very cold. Pours rose gold with a thin white head. Difficult to detect much in the nose, being so cold, but I get a little caramel malt and a herbal hop note. Nice hop/malt balance in the mouth, but again it is too cold to pick any subtlety. Firm bitterness, with very little showing from the NZ Cascade. Temperature keeps perceived carbonation level a little low. Good structure but fall short in the vitality depeartment. Would love to try it a few degrees warmer in the serving temp. bozoNZ (361), Christchurch, New Zealand Dec 17, 2007 Pint - grassy, dry malt aroma. Clean sweet malt base, crisp hop freshness with a spearmint twist. Fluctuates a bit. Nice start, fades thru the mid but lifts at the finish. Nice enough but just a bit up and down
