MBison (376), Southern Highlands, Australia Aug 25, 2008 Bottle (500ml), vintage 07. Poured pale copper with a large, fluffy, domed, off-white head which lasted amazingly. A tropical fruit aroma with a burst of piney/fruity hops, strong notes of passionfruit; pineapple, mango, some apricot marmalade and sweet toffee malt. Flavor was a tropical fruity hop bitterness with sweet stonefruits (peaches, apricots), toffee malts, caramel, red berries, light notes of roasted nuts and some resin in the finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation, a dry/resiny mouthfeel, somewhat syrupy texture and a good finish. Very drinkable but seemed a little sweet and cloying at times. skortila (2400), Bunnik, Netherlands Jun 30, 2008 Bottled @ Aarhus beerfestival 2008. Aroma has sweet honey and raisin malts. Cloudy, orange coloured with an offwhite head. Taste starts (a bit too) sweet and finishes more bitter and dry. It has honey, some yeast and fruitiness (raisin). yespr (6388), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 25, 2008 Århus2008. 50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a fully disappearing head. Mild spiced and light hoppy aroma. Light breadish and spiced flavour foes into a finish that is light spiced and a bit dull. caesar (2514), Zeist, Netherlands May 24, 2008 Bottled @ Aarhus beerfestival 2008.
