It sort of volcanoed out of the bottle. Fruity aroma with citrus and hops. The flavor is very hoppy for an pilsner, with some malt and grain. Medium body and a fruity and bitter finish. The bitterness in the finish is a bit stinging. Not the typical pilsner, but very nice. Thanx Papsoe, it was a nice one. (060914) Sofajoern (146), Denmark
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 7, 2006 Favourite pilsner. Probably because it really doesn’t seem like a pilsner when enjoyed.
Lots of aromatic hops, suprisingly full body and a fantastic malts/hops balance. Quite dry aftertaste but still easily drinkable. "Same again please". TimE (1347), Tokyo, Japan
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 1, 2006 Med golden color, thin head. Aromatic saaz hops in the nose. Clean malty start, but then hops hit back of throat. Well balanced. Assertive bitter finish. Simply outstanding for the style and a beer many Czech breweries should take note of.

Hoppy and the aroma is something else. Great on a hot summers day. Not worried too much about whether it is a ’true’ pilsner but I loved it when in NZ. bager (2121), Copenhagen N, Denmark

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Aug 21, 2006 I found this beer to be slightly dissapointing for something that describes itself as a true pilsner style. I expected it to be a lot drier and without such over citrus flavours. This might just be typical of the tap variety but it was a beer that promised so much and delivered little. The head on the beer depended very heavily on the gas flow from pourage and wether or not the beer was behaving properly at the time. Not a pilsner as such, more of a summer lager style. elektronikfagtekniker (892), kbh, Denmark
