Grassy, slightly bready and earthy aroma. Touch of fruits but slight hints of sulphur too. Nice cleansing full mouthfeel, citrus, grassy a touch winey with a decent crisp bitter finish - many things rolled in to one. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Dec 22, 2007 Bottled: Slightly hazy gold with a small lingering head + some lacing. Big fruity aroma - passionfruit/apricot/lychee. Smoothly malty and fruity. In fact the fruitiness lasts right up to the bitter finish. I ’d been looking foward to trying this for ages and am relieved to find that its good - quite good indeed. maeib (4774), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England

A hazy blonde coloured beer with a huge Duvel like white head. The aroma is very hoppy. Tropical fruit and lemon. A tiny touch of acidity peeps out from the background. Lovely hoppy flavours also. Big hits of lemon, and juicy oranges. Especially full bodied for a light lager. A wonderful pilsener. Why can’t our brewers produce something this good? Cletus (5060), Connecticut, USA

Pours gold and slightly hazy with a nice rocky white head. Smells of straw, citrus, pepper, touches of honey and apples, strawberries, hay, hints of dry crisp malt. Tastes of citrus, caramel, nicely balanced by dry pilsner malt and some peppery splashes. Lots of earthiness as the beer warms. Mouthfeel is full bodied and yields moderate bitterness. Finish is refreshing with some caramel and fruity sensations. An excellent gem of a beer! Defreni (1047), Frederiksberg, Denmark
