Oct 3, 2006 Tried this years 6.3% version. Lovely big banana and spicey clove aroma that continues through to the flavour. Murky amber brown in colour with a very vigorous fluffy head. Fruity and spicey flavour with a dry finish that leaves you wanting more! To my mind the best of the Emersons range so i bought a dozen!

Oct 10, 2006 Tremdous stuff, A strong a drak and a wheat beer all in one, what a mix yet not overpowering. Hopefully following a trophy at BrewNZ to become a regular drop rather than just a seasonal!!

Aug 20, 2008 Pours cloudy dark amber, off white smooth head. Aromas of banana, wheat, bubblegum, spice. Flavours of banana come through with come chocolate/caramel, malty bitterness, incredibly smooth palate. Each sip leaves you begging for more!

Aug 29, 2008 2008 version. different label and booze level than quoted by ratebeer. bananas and candy with some spice notes. dry at the end. very drinkable.
