I had this on tap last night at the Emmett’s in West Dundee. The description the waitress gave me was, "It’s a lot like the Victory but it uses a different yeast strain that makes it more dry and a little sweeter." To me it did, in fact taste a lot like the Victory pale ale, but a little less hoppy. Some less intense grapefruit notes but quite tasty. The finish was a bit drier but nothing the average drinker would notice. Was dark gold in color with about a half inch of head. A good pale ale but I’ll stick with the Victory.
