Commercial Description: (West Dundee, first week of April)
Credited with being the first golden colored lager ever produced, Czech pilsners changed the way the world drank beer. A look at the warm golden color and dense white head of this beer starts your mouth watering. Drawing in a deep breath, unleashes the flowery characteristic of Saaz hops, but that's not all. A carmael-like character weaves itself throughout the delightful hop aromatics, adding to the complexity. A solid medium body helps the pillow soft malt sweetness and firm bitterness embrace, each complimenting the other. This beer is refreshing and rejuvenating. My guess is that this one will sell like hotcakes, so get it while it lasts!
For a pils it is pretty good. Clear golden with little bubbles constantly rising to the top. Very thin white head that is quickly discipating. The nose is full of grains and malts with just a pinch of hops. The taste is just about the same, again heavy with the grains and malts. Just a tad of hops. Overall pretty good, easily rivals other top notch pilsners out there.
