kseecs16 (601), Westmont, Illinois, USA Jul 10, 2008 I am pretty sure this beer is just a relabeling of their Centennial amber per what the bartender at Emmett’s told me. Anyhow it is not bad. Reddish amber in color with a nice noticeably citric hopiness that cuts through the malts. Sort of like their Victory but dialed down on the hops and up on the malts. Solid.

Outstanding aroma and mouthfeel-a good cross between an amber and red, with enough hops to keep it from being sweet. One of the best I’ve ever had at Emmetts-and that’s saying a lot. jfenglish (150), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jul 19, 2008 Sampler at the brewery. Copper red color, nice head. Strong aroma- sweet- dried fruit, maybe strawberry? Flavor is very sweet, more dried fruit and berries, hops take over right at the end to keep it from cloying. A touch too sweet overall for me though.
