Aroma is heavy of dark roasted malt: chocolate comes through first with a light coffee note and ends with a burned malt hint. Flavor is fantastic with a very smooth, creamy blend of a slightly dominate chocolate malt flavor, light coffee bitterness, great burnt malt flavor with a slightly fruity, prunish and apple, sweetness. The flavors really meld together perfectly with nothing being overbearing or strong. Definitely will be looking for this one again on my next stop and wish it was on tap all the time like their Victory Pale Ale. thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA

The mild aroma was brown malt and toffee. . The flavor contained notes of dark malt brown malt and toffee. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again. SubstanceT (1090), Saint Louis, Missouri, USA

Thin to medium, medium lasting brownish foamy head. Nose is rich with malts and chocolate. Taste is just right for a porter. Not too heavy but a strong presence of grains, malts, roastedness and chocolate. Filling and delicious. For a porter a very good beer. Cornfield (4975), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA

This frothy tan mix seriously coated the glass as I drank. In the aroma, the coffee steps forward followed closely by burnt chocolate and roasted malts. This is very smooth and creamy in the mouth. The taste is heavily roasted, malt, chocolate, ensued by a serious bit of coffee brewing. Nice dry finish.
