Commercial Description:
A full bodied robust smoked porter made with an addition of lacal fresh maple syrup from Critz Farm in Cazenovia. The hint of smokiness comes from a light handed use of German smoked malts.

Cask at Clark’sAle House. Dark with good lacing. Porter with sweet bulking up. OK overall. Organic aroma.

A deep dark porter with a thin moka head. A nice chocolate aroma with light wooden notes. In mouth, sweet almost vinous porter with subdued bitter chocolate, warming alcohol, coffee, not very smokey though. Very nice anyways. Cask at Syracuse Real Ale Festival, Oct. 23 2009.
