(190608) guitargomer (1), Clearwater, USA does not count Aug 6, 2008 Of all the several meads I’ve tasted that are not wine based, this is the best by far. With St Pelagrino water it makes a refreshing and satishying spritzer. Rogueone (365), I F&ckin’ hate those guys from, Ohio, USA Jul 22, 2008 The only other mead I have ever had was RedStone’s Juniper -- which tastes like some sort of warped apple sake -- so I was hesitant to even try another. Fortunately, this was the follow-up, and it is amazing. It tastes pure, as if the mead was just a natural-occurring process from honey itself. It’s sweet, not overly so, and I barely detected the alcohol here whatsoever-- which is amazing at 13%. I think it’s beautiful. PhillyBeer2112 (1842), Orange Park, Florida, USA Jul 10, 2008 Full big round sweet honey nose. Lightly perfumed Citrus? is this made with orange blossom honey maybe? Nice true honey flavor. Rounded sweet clean and easy drinking. Very pleasant. Just a touch of alcohol. Dark gold color. A close match to Apis Poltorak Jadwiga, but less robust.
