Tap @ 1st BBF, de Molen. Aroma has peated whisky, chocolate, coffee. Pitch black coloured beer with a beige head. The taste is moderate bitter, bit sweet and has roast, whisky, wood, peat, coffee, some chocolate. Full bodied and the bruichladdich influence is well balanced with the beer. Exceptionally good batch.

Black with a brown head. Extremely woody, peated aroma with a old, mature vibe to it. Flavour is a fatass chocolatey imperial stout with addition of mature old wooden tun. The whisky character is very prominent and managess to balance this otherwise rather sweet and creamy beer.

Tap @ 1ste Borefts. A black colored beer, with a beige/brown head. The aroma of dark fruits with some sweet dark malts and wood. Notes of chocolate. The taste of some sweet. there are malts with dark fruits, notes of wood and alcohol. The aftertaste woody with bitter and a little sweet. A very great beer.

On draft at 1st Borefts Beer Festival, Bodegraven. The last beer i had at the festival and perhaps the best one. This one has everything but still manages to taste perfectly balanced. Oak and peat dominate, malts and chocolate, sweetness with an alcoholic finish. Really, really good.

Tap @ 1st BBF, De Molen. My favorite among the favorites on this festival. Dark chocolate in the aroma with oak, honey and a hint of smoke. Very full bodied, thick, almost viscous mouthfeel. The oak is clearly noticeable in the flavor, just a the peaty smoke. Dark chocolate. The beer is sweet, but there is so much to compensate. Long finish with cream, peaty smoke and pipe tobacco. Magnificent!

On tap at Borefts Bier Festival, De Molen. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of whisky, peat, some smoke. Flavour is sweet, whisky, a bit boozy, light smoke with a very good dry coffee bitter finish with some whisky sweetness in there. Medium to fullbodied.
