Pours a cloudy brown mud, full sheet. Big bourbon, vanilla. And notes of choc. In the nose. Big bourbon notes valong with a thick chocolatey malt character and background booziness. Very nice and warming with sophisticated bourbon and malt and pretty agressive hopping.

25.4 oz bottle. Deep purple brown with a thin tan coating. Massive spicy nose of prune, peat, vanilla, scotch and bourbon. Zesty carb cuts through a rather full body. Taste is woody molasses and currants, scotch then huge bourbon lingering through the finish. Over the top but it works for me.

Thanks to beerlando for this brew It pours dark, opaque brown with a touch of red highlights and has a thin yellow/brown head. Creamy on the tongue, it has a bit of a sticky taste with some nice maltiness. The barrel aging plays well in the background.

Bottle from JdubFL - thanks! Reddish-brown pour with an aroma of vanilla, bourbon, dark fruits and brown sugar. Flavor has maple, vanilla/wood/bourbon, chocolate, dark fruits, and assorted sweet goodies. Monster mouthfeel - this is awesome and gives Alesmith’s BA Wee Heavy a run for its money.
