Bottled. A golden coloured beer with barely any head and just a rim of off-white bubbles around the edge of the glass. A big fruity citrus aroma from all those late addition hops. Oranges especially. Very bitter and tasty in the mouth. Lovely hoppy citrus flavours again. Tastes stronger and longer than regular Punk. This is all about those extra hops; the yeast profile doesn’t really effect the flavours IMO. Very nice indeed. Better than any bottle of Punk I’ve had.

Got a couple of these in a big box BrewDog sent me for buying 20 of their beers from Sainsburys. Feel lucky as it’s a limited edition brew - no real label, just ’Punk Monk’ written on a white background. Pours a golden orange with small white head. Smell hoppy with some definate citrus apricot, peach, excellent and inviting. Fresh and ALIVE. Taste is Punk IPA with flowery, yeasty belgian goodness added. Rich hop taste but an overall mellower feel, with less bitterness. Compared it to the original Punk IPA and it is actually a lot better IMO. Very good.

Bottle ( 12oz ). Shared by swoopjones with me, biegaman, blankboy and garthicus. Pale gold with a small white head. Aroma of dry, resin bitterness, accompanied by apple, alcohol and oak - slightly earthy. The taste follows, but the resin bitterness builds to a grapefruit pitch acidic bitterness, and oddly boozy for 6%. Thin mouthfeel, a bit flat, quite astringent - finished uneven, dry and boozy ---- I was a bit "ehhh" on this one, but decent enough.

Bottle [12oz] shared with garthicus, HogTownHarry, biegaman & swoopjones -- c/o swoopjones . Pours a clear pale gold with no head. Nice aroma, lots of resiny hops along with some yeast and spices. Slightly watery flavour of citrus hops, yeast and fruit and with a long bitter finish. Average to medium bodied. Pretty good stuff.

On tap at White Horse, Parson’s Green. Definitely an estery yeast aroma. Definitely Punk in the mouth. Not a bad mix, a peachy grapefruit IPA. Probably the best thing at this festival
