Alround rating: Huge toffee sweetness, brown sugar, bit of woodyness, the port does show itself but is mainyl hidden under the massive body. Too big for me. sunevdj (1771), Copenhagen OE, Denmark

Intense malty aroma, with slightly oxidized vineous alcohol blending perfectly with fruity port notes. Sweet and very smooth vineous and malty flavour. The port is playing perfectly along with the beer, making the perfect dessert beer. Just maybe a touch too sweet mattias (4), Sweden does not count | 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Sep 25, 2009 Fantastic port barrel beer.
