| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Nov 25, 2009 18cl. bottle number 418 out of 619. Love the limitedness. Popped with a bang. Pours very dark brown to black, with an enormous tan head that lasts forever. Aroma of strong espresso, earth, wood, nuts, some malt and a hint of sharp alcohol stinging the nose. Wonderful complex taste. Bitter, spicy, and of course really well made espresso. This is what an espresso stout should taste like. Greatly carbonated. Long bitter finish, but again this hint of sharp alcohol that pops up. Very enjoyable for a long time. This 18 cl kept me busy for a while. KimJohansen (6938), Copenhagen V, Denmark

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 14, 2009 Bottle 18 cl. Courtesy of yespr/fonefan - bottle # 600. Pours a cloudy and opaque brown with an orange brown and a small beige head. Distinct coffee aroma - like dipping your nose in the funnel. Solid body, hard roasted malt - very burned - with an ashy edge. Some malt bitterness. Nice. 141109 MiP (9070), Sønderborg, Denmark
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Nov 14, 2009 Bottle, 9.5%. Mild coffee aroma, like ground coffee beans after water has run through it. Cloudy very dark brown colour. Small stable brown head. The flavour is nicely sweet, there is some coffee, first in the flavour, later in the aftertaste. First it is a little like coffee with cocoa and perhaps cream, later it tastes like fresh-ground coffee. yespr (12102), Copenhagen O, Denmark

Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is solid coffee aroma, light herbal. Sweet malty and coffeeish flavoured. Light chocolate note and sweet malty. Vague bitterness and roasted acidity from the coffee. Nice roasted coffee flavoured into a smooth and roasted finish. Fantastic for a coffee geek like me.
