Pours a clear golden color with a small white head that goes down to nothing. A somewhat grainy and metallic nose. The flavor is sweet corn and grains, a bit of skunk perhaps. Some vanilla and tell tale signs of a cream ale. OK. tnkw01 (200), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

I am going by memory mostly so the rating may not be entirely accurate. However, from what I do remember it was a really good beer. It was at a time when I was drinking crappy beer and this was the best I had had up till then. I wish I could find it again to see if it is as good as I remember. kramer (2465), Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Nov 22, 2009 7 oz bottle. Pours a clear very pale yellow body with a minimal fizzy white head that faded to a thin ring. Very light nose, just a bit of DMS and a hint of pale malt. The flavor is a little rough as well, thin and a little too much corn with some noticeable DMS. It’s not offensive though. Thin and watery with fizzy carbonation. Not great, but I’d take it over most BMC type Pale Lagers. beerchugger (297), Colorado, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Nov 20, 2009 Pours a golden color with a rather nice white head. The aroma is rather unpleasant with an over present skunky smell. However, there was a bit of floral and a maybe a touch of hay, but there really wasn’t anything too pleasant there. The mouth feel was a bit oily, which wasn’t quite right for this type of beer. The flavor was very light with small tastes of hey and floral coming through. Overall, not very pleasant. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 15, 2009 7oz bottle. Clear gold pour with a big white head. Aroma of creamy corn, sweet malt and light hop. Creamy and sweet flavor up front with a bit of crisp hops and a thin finish. Not my favorite style, but well done for a cream ale. No skunk in the green bottle, surprisingly. thehurt01 (205), Denver, Colorado, USA

Don’t underestimate the power waiting to be unleashed from the small bottles. For a cheap beer, little kings provide a smooth summer refresher. They slide down without tasting like the horrific gold American lagers. The bottles are a conversation piece as well. The best thing is that since the bottles are small the beer never gets warm.
