Nov 21, 2009 Pours a golden brown with an off-orange colored head. Thick head with nice lacing. Aroma is mostly pine hops with hints of citrus and malt. Taste is hoppy and bitter but not too much. After tast is sweet up front and bitter around the edges. Very good brew!

Nov 14, 2009 Bottle shared @ the HotD dock sale [thanks guyinchicago for the trade!]... Poured amber with an off-white head. Hoppy nose. Light, well carbonated palate. Hops and grains all around. Thin, slightly bitter finish.

Nov 12, 2009 Pours a copper/brown with a thin tanish head. Aroma consists of grapefruit, citrus, and pine. Tastes of citrus and pine, but you also get a bitter bite at the end. I get more of an IPA than a pale ale, but either way this is a terrific beer. Nice work FFF!

Nov 10, 2009 An absolutley solid pale ale bordering on ipa given its hop squeeze. May be low score by me, but only because of the dizzing array of stellar beers they make to compare it against. Good work TTT

Nov 10, 2009 Brewed in the USA.... On tap at the Brass Rail. Pours copper in color with a small off white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, malts and hops. Taste of grapefruit, oranges, caramel and malts. Mouthfeel is medium in body with some lingering bitterness at the finish. Overall, very easy to drink and is worth seeking out. :)

Nov 10, 2009 On tap at The Brass Rail. Poured a clear burnished copper color with a small off-white head. Huge gusts of hops waft up from the glass. Grapefruit, pine, grass, and toast were all present in the nose and flavor. The palate was very crisp and inviting with a notable amount of bitterness. More of an IPA in every sense except the alcohol level. Lovely.

Nov 5, 2009 Pours a hazy copper with one finger head that leaves a little a lacing - A blast of hops in the aroma - Very bitter on the palate yet goes down very smooth - Aroma and taste resemble more of a DIPA than an APA yet at 6% abv you can drink this all night - overall this probably my favorite beer - Congrats and thank you to the brewer on excellent brew!

Pours a clear reddish amber with a two-finger tan, rocky head that leaves okay lacing. Aroma is huge caramel, butterscotch candy, strawberry cheesecake, honey, blueberries. Taste is not what I was expecting at all. Instead of a hop bomb or citrus, juicy body, this is more like rich blackberry and cranberry pie. The hops here are spicy, sweet, and balancing rather than the primary character of the beer. As it warms the 6% starts to show through. Nice chewy, syrupy mouthfeel. This is very yummy, novel, but not the ultimate APA I was expecting.
