Commercial Description:
Selected as a benchmark for the Beer Judge Certification Program used in all American based beer judgings. Centennial IPA has quickly become the IPA of choice. Pour yourself a pint of this complex flavorful ale and bask in the frothy head’s floral bouquet. Relish the immense citrus accents, achieved by the abundance of dry hopping. This ale’s sweet, malty undertones balance the hop character with a finish that never turns too bitter.

Semi-cloudy classic IPA color with a frothy, bubbly off-white head. Aroma of fresh hops... Wait, I need to slow down. Again, FRESH HOPS. Awesome. Wow, I’m so impressed. Not very bitter, very fresh and pleasant. Light bodied, light finish with that same fresh dry hop flavor.

Bottled. Amber beer with white head--thin. Aroma is pleasant sweet hop--a little grassy. Flavor is caramel and hops of citrus...very dry end.

Bottle, ppours a red amber with white tan head. Aroma, overpower floral with soft malty sweetness. Taste, huge floral almost soapy with bitter hop bite, tingles the tongueand the hops linger. Very dry mouth finish. A very good beer

12 oz bottle served in a tulip. Pour was a hazy orange with two inches of thick, fluffy off-white head. Nose was very neutral on this; I picked up malt, light hops, and very light pine. Taste was very much the same. It was so neutral, yet the notes of the style were there, but not outlandish in any regard. This is a very delicious IPA, and I feel this is a great starter brew to introduce the style to people who don’t care for the IPA.

Draft at misconduct. Pours gold with white frothy head, awesome lacing. Grapefruit and peach aroma, touch of grass. Very little sweetness and then a drying bitter finish on the tongue. Incredibly hoppy solid IPA.

Bottle from Bierkoning. Glowing brown body with sticky head. Toasty caramel head. Nice taste of toffee, caramel. Quite spicy too with hops in the finish and citrus notes. A lovely IPA. Another great beer from Founders.
