Commercial Description:
Vicious and viscous, this menacing brew pours opaque black with a creamy maduro-colored head. Its aroma offers seductive whiskey, chewy red wine, dark fruit and lavish tobacco. Berserker Imperial Stout invades your taste buds with in-your-face flavor. Weighing in at almost 13% alcohol by volume, Berserker is completely out-of-control. Give it a good fight.
This version of Berserker Imperial Stout was aged in both red wine and whiskey barrels. The entire batch was brought back together before being packaged in kegs and 22-oz bottles.

Rating 1900. Thanks to UncleJedi for sharing! Thick inky black pour with a frothy beige head and drippy lace. Aroma is dominated by molasses, oak and coffee. Sweet upfront with hints molasses, oak, vanilla and chocolate. Finish is dry with hints of maple syrup and dark fruit

Bottle (thanks to Angeloregon for sharing)... Poured black with a thin -- almost little-to-none -- brown head. Aroma of vanilla and roasted, toasted grains and almost as extreme as a little bit of cheese and greasy meat. Smooth palate, lightly carbonated that hugged my tongue and allowed for easy quaffing. Oaky, vanilla and subtly smoked with that "lavish tobacco" (as described on the bottle) base coming through. Insanely boozy with a sweet chocolate and creme brulee-like finish.

Bottle from bvc that was a nice "celebrator glass" in an Eastern Colorado pheasant field. Deep dark woodiness in the nose, also bourbon and plums, just a light bitterness. Taste is earthy bittersweet molasses to start, with a roasted meat and black pepper jerky thing (in a good way) as it warms a bit. Great toasty bitterness to finish and scary drinkable for nearly 13% abv. Thanks, Brandon. Really nice one.

Courtesy Trevor211. Tasty, upper limit thickness. Darkest pour with bubbly thick head. Creamy chocolate, cream, lactic. Milkshake like up front. Ends stiff, light coffee. No bourbon at all. Molasses, rich but not entirely lux. well rounded for a big beer.

bomber - 2008 vintage; jet black with thin brown head; tons of coffee and sweet chocolate; killer smooth, creamy texture with bone dry finish; sweet fruit, chocolate syrup and dank fruit; very solid across the board but not up to the standards they set with sloth; need to revisit with a fresh bottle of the 2009 batch

Dark fruit, figs, bourbon, cacao, red wine barrel notes on the nose. Black, creamy, and oily appearance. Dark brown head. Figs, dark fruit, chocolate, molasses, bourbon, and light red wine notes make up the flavor profile. Extremely complex and giant beer. Vanilla and brown sugar show up as well. Soft but sharp carbonation. Lingering dry roasted bitterness and a hint of barrel and alcohol in the finish. Solid.
