Aroma is a little biscuity malt, lemon, and grapefruit. The flavor is not far removed, but with a more toasty feel to the malt and a strong bitter bite at the finish. Reminded me of lemon rinds. A nice, straightforward west cost IPA. TipsyMcStager (946), Calgary, Alberta, Canada

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 20, 2009 Very well balaced IPA. Strong maltcy flavor and thick feel help to balance out this strongly hopped and carbonated IPA. Would buy again, especially for the price! (3.79 for a 22oz) theisti (1693), Leawood, Kansas, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 14, 2009 22 oz bottle purchased at Bottleworks in Seattle, Washington. Pour is a hazed orange golden with nice settling building up a one inch off white head. Head leaves behind some streaky lacing. A bunch of fine carbonation bubbles are visible. Aroma of bright resin and mild pine hops along with a toasty maltiness. There is also a caraway seed aspect. Fresh and balanced nose. Taste is the nose, straw resin and pine hops up front, toasty bready malts in the middle with more of the resin bitterness to the finish. Palate is medium to thin, with a nice dry resinous finish. Clean and easy to drink. bozoNZ (507), Christchurch, New Zealand
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 14, 2009 Sweet pine and some warm alcohol on the nose (served warmer). reas golden with a good pillow like crisp white head. very sweet malts up front. Almost caramello chocolate sort of sickly sweet. Lovely pine and herbal dominated hop flavours. Well balanced and interesting when fresh I’m sure but probably showing it’s age but held up reasonably well, nonetheless IndianaRed (1562), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 11, 2009 22oz Bottle Hazy orange golden color with just a small skin. Light fruity citrus aroma. Peaches actually, I think. Lots of IBUs in the flavor, but just enough bitter resinous hop flavor comes through to make it interesting. Fades to more piney and astringent and trails off as a classic sharp bite. Not overdone though and in your face enough to be noticed.
Modest to slightly heavy and malty. A bit more atenuation would I think show off the hops a bit better.
Not bad. kangaroo (45), Everett, Washington, USA

Flavor is nice and hoppy with pleasantly bitter finish. Glass left with some pretty lacing. DJMonarch (6941), Northwich, Cheshire, England
