Pours a still very light pinot gris colored mead with a clean disk top and some thin viscosity tears inside the glass. Aroma of fresh sweet unpasteurized sweet honey (visit a honey farm to experience this) with some floral and unflavored gum. Taste is one of the sweetest honey I’ve ever tried. You can definitely detect the White Tupelo honey in the flavor which lacks some of the sugar character as in store bought varieties. Finish is silky smooth, with a soft honey aftertaste that even lingers a little after the finish. One of B. Nektar’s finest! BDR (2168), Roseville, Minnesota, USA

A floral honey aroma that was very pleasant and unique. Supremely sweet in both aroma and flavor, like most well done meads this does not become cloying at all. A smooth finish as well. Moderately floral aroma, some alcohol, not overly perfumey. Nice zip of alcohol and flowers up front, smooth heat on the back end. Low-key mead, but very tasty.
