Hazy amber pour with a nice foamy head and sticky lace. Really nice aroma of pine, grapefruit, floral hops. A pungent hop nose for sure. Flavors of tropical fruit, pineapple, grapefruit, with a strong resiny finish. Malt lends a dryness in the form of biscuit, and a soft sweetness that compliments the hops. Really nice hop bomb of a beer. Citrus and punch linger, lots of resins.

almost as ruinous as the stone ruination. super hoppy with a bitterness that stays with you long after the sip. can’t believe I haven’t tried anything by ebb yet. this seems like the start of a beautiful friendship.

On tap at Elliott Bay Brew Pub in West Seattle, WA--Bright citrus floral hops. Great nose! Orange copper body with lots of legs. Wispy white head. Great malt balance with a touch of wheat. Simcoe and Amarillo hops rule! Fantastic beer. Strong bitter finish. I predict this beer wins best IIPA at GABF.

8/23/08 From cask at the Seattle AHA rally. Aroma is strong; primarily of sweet cascade. Appearance is hazy yellow with a well maintained white head. Flavor is very well balanced, slightly starchy, and all good. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a low carb texture; some resin. Overall, excellent.
