| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 14, 2009 A dark brown pour with a fluffy, off-white head. The aroma is a sweet malt and grain. It has a fairly sweet and bready malt taste, but is well balanced with just enough hops. It has a medium body and finishes dry, making it very quaffable considering the low ABV. A very nice lager. delnoche (234), Germany

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 24, 2009 Deep ruby with a rocky tan head. Malty, toasted, some wood, molasses in the aroma. Smooth body. The flavor is similar to the aroma and is rather boring. The molasses hits the hardest on the finish while the toasted malts are there for the rest. Like most of the other Leinenkugel beers I’ve had this one isn’t bad- it’s just boring and bland. BückDich (4857), McCall, Idaho, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 11, 2009 Bottle: Dark mahogany color with ruby highlights, small tan head and light lacing. The nose is roasty with light dry husk and dark caramel, mild molasses and thin coffee. The flavor is dry, lightly roasty with a thin and neutral finish. No hops, no sweetness, a tiny bit of dry roast and anise. Just a dark lager with a thin body. matthewjk (73), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Nov 8, 2009 When I was a younger lad, Creamy Dark was considered a ’dank’ beer among my friends. Now that I’m older, I’m re-trying it for the first time in a decade and realize it is not the best. It is drinkable, but it smells awful and has a thin, unappealing flavor and palate. rugbydude05 (300), Kew Gardens, New York, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 27, 2009 Pint on tap at MKE. Dark brown opaque appearance, large head as expected. Aroma is sweet like a root beer but with some malts, chocolate, and roastiness. Flavor is swet and spicy, not bitter at all. Palate is smooth with a full body. Good option for a local brew in Wisconsin. Lawsonciv (28), Norman, Oklahoma, USA
