Tap. This beer was part of the Beerquest series. Local homebrewers compete to see who will get their recipe brewed by the brewery. This time it was Omaha homebrewer Dave McGrath. Hazey golden honey autumnal leaves color...little/no lace...great color, just no head! Peachy, fruity hops/yeast aroma mingles w/ malt. Crisp, citrusy beer w/ good hop profile...lemon rind...citric tartness & bitterness finish the beer. Suprisingly enjoyable and likely the best beer I’ve had from Empyrean. I was expecting a Boulevard Wheat clone, and got something with a lot more complexity and some very nice hop highlights to it. Still very light in body(as their beers almost always are) but it didn’t hurt this nice quaffer. I wish it was a full time brew.
