Pours a somewhat clear gold, with a slowly dissipating head. Aroma is the typical odor of a Pilsner, but a sweeter version. Flavor is a round, blunt malt with touches of sweetness, though I wouldn’t say I detect any "honey," if that was the intent of the brewer. Palate is par for the course. A nice beer for a hot day. Aroma of honey, grains, and a touch of caramel. Flavor is sweet, honey, grain, corn, and light hops on the finish. Palate is light not overly carbonated. Easy to drink.. Would make a fair session. The pour reveals a brilliantly clear deep yellow body that forms a soapy, fleeting white head that patterns the sides of the glass as it falls.
Sweet malt aroma with a heavy sourness. Maybe that’s the corn aroma everyone mentions in the rating descriptions for this style. I last smelled this in some beers from Ghana.
Smooth, thin, sweet with an astringent finish. No honey character to this that I discern. It has a great taste, mildly sweet but not excessive with a good after taste. The right bar tender can get it to head but very little. Golden in color although it’s cloudy to look through. There are better but not many. mdi (573), Nebraska, USA

Sweet malt with a suggestion of honey character. Light beer all the way around. Something for beginners or those not wanting a lot of flavor to get in the way of their beer drinking. zarniwoop (6), Iowa, USA does not count | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 20, 2005 One of my favorites from Empyrean’s selection. Sure, it’s fairly light in body, but the texture is a great honey drip style. The appearance is a nice golden amber. Particularly tasty on its own, but goes with food as well.
