Empyrean Irish Red

On tap at Lazlos in Lincoln, Nebraska. I was told today was the first day they started pouring this after a lengthy layoff. Good return if this is so. Poured a rich copper color with a big tan head. Nose of malts, hops, a and spices. Nice clean mouthfeel and enjoyable flavor.

Tap at brewpub. Copper color...malty, grainy nose, slight carmel with some earthy hop spice. Drinks light and ends with solid hop bitterness and a touch of carmel. Hoppier(more bitter) than I expected with a grainy malt character. Decent enough, but nothing exceptional. It is an Irish Red afterall...
