Brown body, light brown head, fast away; Small very simple nose, with very little character, simple brown sugar and malt; Full body, sharp but full sparkle, simple sharp character; Metallic finish, medium length, a bit sour, not really pleasant.

Room temperature sample in requisite goblet. Noisily fizzing, soap-scented dubbel brimming with creamy suds. Flavour is blood and iron, with a handful of raisins. Some chocolate in the background. If I knew what prunes tasted like, those as well. Palate is creamy and consistent to the end. Mellow, stoutish, fruity dubbel. A real grower.

Bottled. Dark brown, decent tanned, creamy head. Quite typical fruity "bruin" aroma (prunes, raisins). Carbonated, fruity - dark fruits - quite good dubbel.

Bottle (Utobeer): Ruby amber with a huge, fading to medium brown head. Light spice and caramel aroma. Sweetish malts, yeasty bread and spices. Estery, pepper like alcohol in the aftertaste. Drinkable, but overpowering alcohol burn, suprising considering abv.
