33 cl bottle. No yeast at the bottom. Dark reddish amber colour with a huge head. Sweet malty aroma with a touch of yeast and spices. Sweet alcoholic flavour with notes of sugar, yeast and a metallic finish

33cl bottle from Dorstvlegel, Antwerp. Ruby/brown colour with beige lasting head. Just a bit too much boiled sweet and candy sugar. Some nice choc and malt on the aroma. Not too good in mouth or on the end. Shame cos the aroma is nice. Bit too metallic, but choc runs through it.

nutty malts, with little yeast and sweetness. Taste has more alcohol than expected, malt and sweetness which makes it very drinkable.

Bottle
Chestnut colouring, very nice lacing golden brown foam. Citric and nutty aroma. Relatovely lightbodied, slightly overcarbonated. Fruit (prunes, citrus) and brown sugar base, quick metallic finish.

Bottled at Fynske Øldage, Odense, Denmark. Copper in color, with a light tan head. Quite flat. Sweet, malty aroma. Fruity flavor with candisugar. Long, dry, bitter finish. (051029)

Bottle. Red/chestnut colour. Malty flavour, but somehow dryish. Quite boring for a dubbel.

Dark brown beer. Fine head. Mainly sweet and malty, not many spices. An ok dubbel.

330 ml bottle, bought at Vinens Verden, Odense, Denmark. Deep red-brown colour, large light tan head. Surprisingly moderate malty aroma, notes of caramel and oak. Improves as the beer warms up, some vinous qualities. Flavour is malty with some caramel and brown bread notes, moderate hops. Easy drinking, refreshing for its strength. Okay.
