Reddish brown with creamy tan head. Vague aroma of chocolate, yeast and prunes. Dry yeasty flavour with a nice fruity sweetness from banana, prunes and pear. Hints of dark toasted bread in the finish.

(Bottle 33 cl) Dark with a fairly decent head. Appears to be filtered, but some sediment is found on the bottom of the bottle. Typical notes of chocolate, dried fruits and perhaps even licorice. Rather dry though with some hops in the finish. Very classical Dubbel. 280695

Dark brown beer, nice malt taste with a hint of spices and candy sugar. An easy drinkable dubbel, maybe a bit to sweet.

A little metallic with slightly burnt roasted malt. Lactic acid creeps in about midpalate. The finish is toffee sugar and malt astringent.

Bottled. Deep, rich, true brown body, soft smallish (for the style) beige head. Nutty malts, with some milk chocolate qualities. Not a stand out but still very easy drinking.

Bottle. Clear, dark amber colour with a large tan head. Nice aroma of malts, caramel and a little fruit. Coffee, chocolate and roasted malts in the flavour. Quite highly carbonated, medium bodied. Nice sharp bitter finish. Very good.

Bottle. Dark brown, nice head. Sweet, rusty-dry middle. Gets better when left to stand for a few mins.

Cookie and caramel in the nose, hazy pale ruddy-brown. Thin sticky head. Sweet toffee malts with some plum and currant tastes. A fizzy dry end. Medium body. Enjoyable for sure, though not terribly exciting.
