May 29, 2007 Bottle: Deep reddish-amber coloured, very stable mid-sized sandy head; fruity nose (dark berries, a bit zesty, mixed with citrus-fruits), underpinned by darh malt; moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, light to medium-bodied; warming caramelly and sweet-fruity finish, followed by some bitterness in the very end. Nothing special..........

May 13, 2004 Bottled: Amber coloured. Huge beige head. Malty and spicy aroma. Flavour is a bit watery. Has notes of liqourice, alcahol and caramel. Not long lasting flavours on the palate, but the beer is quite dry. Easy drinkable.

Mar 19, 2003 Dark brown with a white head this beer has good, sweet chocolate aromas. Coffee and plain chocolate are to the fore in terms of flavour, whilst the finish is dry and bitter. Dubbel by numbers? Perhaps, but it got it right.
