Murky brown with scarlet hidden in the depths. Soft frothy head which whips up on pouring, but then settles into Brussels lace. Dark malty aroma - brown bread. Mouthfeel has usual bottled beer harsh carbonation. Difficult to get fully at the flavours through the prickling bubbles. Some red fruits in there, some acid, some tree bark. Acceptable enough, but nothing special. As Kasta says, let it settle a while before drinking.

Bottle. Small off-white head. Dark red clear body. Aroma of berries. Flavor of berries and caramel plus a good deal of carbon dioxide. Well rounded and pleasant.

Bottle. [Courtesy of yespr, thanks buddy] Large creamy beige head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Cloudy dark amber colour. Aroma of caramel, nutty, fruit, yeast, grain. Medium bodied with an average carbonation. Moderated sweet flavour. Nutty sweet and caramelized lingering finish.

(Bottled) Dark reddish brown color with a largeish, foamy and bubbly, beige head. Quite fresh aroma of malt, chocolate and lemon. Sweet and malty, smooth flavor with dried fruit, very little hops, and some acidity. Medium-bodied, a bit oily palate with somewhat foamy carbonation. A straightforward, sweetish, very basic and smooth dubbel. Easily drinkable, although a bit foamy.

Chestnut colouring, very nice lacing golden brown foam. Citric and nutty aroma. Relatovely lightbodied, slightly overcarbonated. Fruit (prunes, citrus) and brown sugar base, quick metallic finish.

330ml bottle. Shared Tranquility’s - thanks! Dark red, think light head. Aroma is very perfumed, a bit shampooey, and also sweet malt. Taste similar, very sweet, extremely perfumey - as Marcus says, it’s like perfumed make-up or lipstick. Quite malty, and a bit fizzy. But I just can’t get over the over-dominant perfume taste. Is it made with 200 whores’ handkerchiefs?
