Sep 3, 2006 Pours dark burgundy with a mostly receding tan head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, and yeasty esters. Taste is dark toffee and mild fruitiness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with lush carbonation.

Jun 5, 2008 Bottle, Belgian Belly, Manchester. Pours a dense dark brown with a thick foamy biege head. Looks very inviting. Aroma is sweetish, with roasted malts, spice and dark fruit. Flavour is malty with more fruit and notes of caramel ,yet with a slight metallic tang which luckilly isn’t too prominent in the mix. Quite heavily carbonated mouthfeel. Far from perfect, but enjoyable on the whole.
