Pwn3d (619), NYC, New York, USA Jun 22, 2008 Sampled from tap at Brasserie Molliere in SoNo, CT. Poured pretty clear. Offensive alcohol taste and basic spices. One of the poorest representations of style.
Cornfield (4343), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Sep 30, 2008 From the squat little bottle this poured a slightly hazed golden body with a billowing white head. Yeasty nose, fruity with apples and sweet cherries, over a sweet pale malt. The flavor pretty well reflects the aroma, but there’s a touch of mineral water that brings it down a notch. Not bad.
Binny’s Beverage Depot, Orland Park, IL fordest (1778), Santee/San Diego, California, USA Sep 21, 2008 350 ml bottle shared at a friend’s house. Yeasty spicy aromas with a similar flavor with a bit of pepper and some alcohol on the finish. Just ok. tronraner (1434), Maryville, Tennessee, USA Aug 30, 2008 Bottle. Pours light brass color with sticky white head. The aroma is quite spicy, with some sweet malt notes, fruit, zest. The flavor has a sweet maltiness not unlike malt liquor. There’s a tart zestiness, though, that keeps it from becoming too cloying. Sharp papery hops take the finish and linger into the aftertaste. This one is not so great. eli723 (10), San Diego, California, USA Aug 20, 2008 Poured it from a bottle. Had a metallic taste to it. Unfortunate. I agree that it is a very poor representation of the Belgian Triple. Wouldn’t get it again. phishpond417 (1459), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Aug 20, 2008 This brew pours a vibrant golden orange colour. Maintains a well carbonated body. The image of this brew in the glass was like a snowglobe hourglass visual beer show. Aroma is sweet of tropical fruits- peach, apricot and pineapple. Taste is bubblicious and sweet with noticeable alcohol flavor.
