Beershine (1214), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Oct 25, 2007 Although it has a light, fruity character, the Ename is a disappointing tripel in the grand scheme of things.
eli723 (8), USA does not count Aug 20, 2008 Poured it from a bottle. Had a metallic taste to it. Unfortunate. I agree that it is a very poor representation of the Belgian Triple. Wouldn’t get it again. phishpond417 (1409), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Aug 20, 2008 This brew pours a vibrant golden orange colour. Maintains a well carbonated body. The image of this brew in the glass was like a snowglobe hourglass visual beer show. Aroma is sweet of tropical fruits- peach, apricot and pineapple. Taste is bubblicious and sweet with noticeable alcohol flavor. stouby (1447), Holbaek, Denmark Aug 4, 2008 Bottle at Nørrebro Bryghus.
Clear orange with a fine white head. Aroma heavy malty (caramel, fruity, coriander). Flavor heavy sweet, light bitter. Full body, lots of alcohol but well hidden. A pleasure to drink. Slayer85 (441), Firenze, Italy Aug 1, 2008 750 ml bottle. A clear deep golden beer with a medium sized and fast disappearing white head. The aroma has a decent maltiness and reveals notes of honey, pepper and fruits. There is a hint of alcohol and a mild hopping. The flavour has a high sweetness and a light bitterness. Again very honeyish (I’m not a honey fine) and too much on the sweet side and unbalanced. Some spiciness.. Medium to full body, lively carbonation, dry medium finish with light to medium bitterness. The alcohol is felt. Not terrible, but too sweet. tarjei (1154), Bryne, Norway Jul 21, 2008 33 cl bottle, bought in shop in Oostende. Golden color, nice and foamy white head. Aroma is malty and grainy. Flavor is nice malty sweetness, also hints of hops. Alcohol is well hidden. Not formidabel, but this is a malty Belgian tripel!
