| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Mar 18, 2009 Bottle. Pours a hazy light yellow amber with a large behemoth of a white head. Small particulate matter in suspension. Smells like chemicals, wet cardboard, and possibly a little like burning rubber. Body is thin and soda like with piles of carbonation, slightly sweet, but then an odd flavor matching the terrible nose kicks in. Some light bitterness at the end. Aftertaste of burnt corn. Drain pour. jimhilt (1692), Bow, New Hampshire, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Sep 9, 2008 Explodes out of bottle, filled a large mug with foam that went all over the counter but it faded quickly leaving traces of lace. Hazy amber color. Light carbonation and light bodied. Slight malty nose. Flavor is boring, slightly watery, some sweet malt, maybe adjuncts, strange golden. $1.50 for a 12oz bottle from Manchester Wine and Liquors Manchester, CT. Narnad (726), Wonder Lake, Illinois, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 10, 2008 Pours a semi-cloudy golden color with a small head and little carbonation. Aroma is of pale malt, strong hoppy character and very slight smoky aroma. Flavor has a little hop character, malt really hangs around strong and a slight Saaz skunky flavor too it. Great story to build up the beer but overall was nothing special and a little disappointing. VTHopHead (936), Barre, Vermont, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | May 18, 2008 Bottle - Poured a golden amber in color with a very small white head that quickly faded, Aroma is of grainy malt, corn and grassy hops. Not overly impressive so far. Flavor was much like any mega-brew... heavy with adjuncts, not terribly hoppy and not real enjoyable. Finished with a weak bitterness. Not worth repeating... jcr (1190), Jasper, Indiana, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Dec 23, 2007 Bottle. Looks good with a large, fizzy head atop a yellow, sparkling body. It’s downhill from there. Average to heavy nose that first comes off as sweet straw and fresh grass, but reveals a hint of cleaning fluid. The flavor is lightly sweet, lightly acidic and lightly bitter. Medium body and a creamy texture that grows chalky. Lively carbonation. The finish leaves a vegetable, canned corn flavor in the mouth. | 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Dec 22, 2007 Darkened yellow pour with a gigantic white head that settles nicely. The nose is odd, with a healthy dose of fresh cut grass and a strong underlying note of rubber cement and nail polish. Me thinks an infection is growing here. The body is drinkable with a nice balance of strawy malt and light grassy hops. Aroma is odd, body isn’t bad.
