Dark yellow colored, cloudy appearance. Medium sized white head. Rich sweet fruity, banana aroma with some yeast and some berries. Medium bodied, somehow safty palate. Flavor is also dominated by sweet banana and some spicy yeastiness, one could say that this is good basic weisse. Aftertaste dries with yeast and some banana. Good one.

Thank you Masn/g2b.dk. It’s golden, slightly hazy with a huge, white and nice head. The aroma has notes of cloves, sweetness and banana. the flavour has sweetness, notes of cloves, banana, wheat and a light hoppy bitterness. The body is quite full and well balanced.

On tap at the Engelbräu Brauhaus. Semi-translucent and glowing yellow-gold in color with a nicely retained white head serving as a foam cap. Sugary bananas out the wazoo nail the nose. Honey and candi sugar cubes team with a vanilla and clover forte for an ever-sweet and enticing commodity. Flavorful lemon rinds meet a raw potato etching with some coriander and honey candle wax. Banana-mango cream smoothie-like sweetness hits a bump of honeyed melon. Medium-bodied, justly carbonated and a cornstalk scratch meet a Kayro syrup sweetener enhancement in the finish. A more syrupy rendition, but well done on all accounts.

(bottle) Slightly hazy yellow colour with a fluffy foamy, quite stable white head. Sourish malty yeasty aroma, slightly fruity (citrus) and clovy. Sweet and sour flavour, light bodied, ok carbonated. Wheat-malty and citrus-fruity taste; slightly sweet and sour fruity finish with a whiff of cloves. Not very convincing and less than decent Weizen.

Bottle: Slightly hazy, pale golden, mid-sized white fluffy head, quickly diminishing to a thin foamy layer; robust sweetish fruity nose (bananas mainly, some citrousy notes, only faint traces of cloves); quite sweet fruity flavour, a bit oily, medium bodied; sweet finish, some fruitiness in the aftertaste. An almost cloying Weizen, really not refreshing................
