On-tap at the brewpub. Pours dark brown/black with a moderate brown head, good lace. Smells roasty and dark malty, some dark chocolate. Tastes about the same as it smells. Medium body, good carbonation.

Tap @ Small Brewers Festival. Dark brown to black color with a light brown head. A strong chocolate and malt flavor with a long aftertaste. A nice malty aroma.

Has a very dark brown color and a roasted malt smell. Taste was of the roasted malts and finished pretty smooth. Overall an ok stout, but nothing special.
