doubleo (966), San Diego, California, USA Nov 19, 2008 On-tap at the brewpub. Pours clear, light yellow with a moderate white head and good lace. Smells sweet, syrupy malty, slight citrus. Tastes slightly dishtowel with hints of citrus and a backing of sweet, syrupy, cereal malts. Medium body, ok carbonation. AleDrinker (1073), Sunnyvale, California, USA Aug 12, 2007 Pretty decent english pale ale. Nice hoppy aroma. Flavor is slightly sweet, body is light and refreshing. Nice bitterness rounds everything out. Pretty standard epa. ABUSEDGOAT (1924), California, USA May 28, 2007 AKA Hogs Breath Pale Ale. On tap at Hog’s Breath in La Quinta, CA. Clear amber, average at best lacing. Aroma is grapefruity with pine, some more fruit, typical caramel backing. Lighter bodied, some alcohol, bitterness and sweetness are all in finish. Definitely not my favorite APA. GeneralGao (2628), Iowa City, Iowa, USA Aug 1, 2006 Draught. Clear amber color. Almost no head. Biscuity malt nose and flavor with a sublte hoppy accent. There is also a light citrusy note at times. Moderate carbonation made for a fairly smooth mouth feel. marcus (1119), Sacramento, California, USA Mar 22, 2006 On tap at English Ales Brewery. This light gold ale poured with a short white head. Tasted like a classic english pale ale that has been watered down. Drinkable, but not much more.
