Jan 13, 2007 Bottle, 5.6%. Citric hop aroma. Almost clear copper colour. Big stable head. The flavour starts caramelly with a little aromatic hoppiness, and turns bitter in an OK dry way. Nicely balanced.

Oct 25, 2006 [Bottle] Amber, somewhat unclear color. Dense head. Aroma is fruit, toffee and a little bit of liquorice. Flavour is more toffee followed by a nice hoppy bitterness.

Oct 23, 2006 Bottled. Amber colour, large but brief head. Perfumy hop aroma with notes of peach and melon. Medium sweet with clean mouthfeel and medium body. Light caramelly malt backs the wealth of unsual perfumy hops. Dusty finish with powerful bitterness. A damn fine English IPA!

Oct 14, 2006 Clear copper with a large white head. Great retention and lacing. Aroma of yeast, apple, caramel and flowers. The body feels quite thick and creamy, giving flavours of caramel, earthy, flowery hops. Well balanced and perfectly bitter. Smooth hoppy finish, perhaps a little buttery.

Oct 6, 2006 Bottle. Orangey amber, hazy with a big offwhite head. Hoppy citrus and apples aroma. Caramel sweetness marry with citrus and fruity hops flavours. Good bitterness. Medium to full body. A great IPA, almost American-style with its potency.
