Commercial Description:
Brewed in the style of a classic India Pale Ale, this intensely hopped ale is a hymn to the virtues of the exclusive Kentish Cobb hop. We add the hops at four different stages of brewing to develop the full spectrum of their taste. The magnificent Cobb rewards with a gentle bitterness and aromatics of depth and distinction. Married with Maris Otter barley from Suffolk this is a majestic ale to enjoy on occasions that call for the very best.

Bottle. Clear pale amber colour with rich white head. Pleasant hop aroma of grass, earth, flowers and subtle citrousy fruits. Grassy flavour with notes of oranges with a fairly dry finish of grass, soil and orange-peels. Pretty good!

(Bottle 33 cl) Pours a beautiful, clear amber with a nice, off-white head. Fresh and lightly floral aroma. Medium body with a slightly sweet malt character quickly balanced by a distinct bitterness. Ends very dry. Very decent. 150906

Bottle from Swedish Systembolaget. Crisp and dry hops all along. Some metallic notes which detract from an otherwise enjoyable ale. Wouldn’t really call it IPA though, rather.. as the description here at RB notes, an ESB.

(Bottle at home) Pours clear amber with lots of bobbles and a sand coloured head. Aroma: earthy and grassy hops. Some malt. A bit fruity and honey-ish. The flavour has a medium bitterness that you feel in the back of your mouth and on the tip of your toung, nothing on the sides. Peppery, rasiny mouthfeel. Some citrus bitterness.
