Bügelverschlußflasche (von MANUFAKTUM): Hazy, orangey coloured, quite stable off-white head; orangey-fruity nose with some wheaty-grainy (pardon emmer-grainy) traces; light sweetish-sourish flavour; almost watery sweetish-sourish finish. Organic, but very boring..........

(swing top bottle) Extremely cloudy, murky orange colour with a thick and light-beige foamy head. Yeasty, sweet malty nose with distinctive fruity notes of orange, pears and citrus. Light-sweet and sourish flavour, medium bodied with a slick mouthfeel. Slim malty base, yeasty and slightly fruity taste; slightly sweet and sourish finish with shy phenolic spice. Not my cup of tea (21.05.08).

bottle, traded with my beer friends from Bochum. Cloudy brownish-yellow, large and creamy head. Sour nose. Fruity and very malty, silghtly grainy and yeasty with a shy sourness. A very interesting and pleasant brew.

[bottle] Sour wheat aroma with a touch of banana and some sweet, caramely malt. Hazy, light-brownish orange with a nice white foam that gradually drops. Sweet, soft banana and clove malt, almost reminiscent of Schneider’s Aventinus. Pleasant bitterness offsets the sweetness and somehow integrates well with the alcohol. Medium body, warming, clean finish.

Bottle. Light sour white-bread aroma. Cloudy orange, creamy off-white head. Peach and banana note on edgy, light bitter wheat, a unusual spicyness which just about makes it interresting and stand out from a regular Hefeweizen. Medium boudy, mellow mouthfeel. Fruity aftertaste.
