12 oz. bottle from Wine Warehouse. Hazy peach color with a big head. Fruity yeast aroma with notes of pineapple, peach and caramel. Taste is kind of disappointing. Caramel, citrus, yeast, spice. But, thin taste and slightly watery.

Bottle, pilsner glass. Very cloudy light orange body, huge creamy head, also slightly yellow. It takes a while to bubble down, and when it does, leaves some nice lacing. Aromas of malt and lemon zest. Initially muted flavor profile: cidery malts, turning into a general bready flavor, is definitely there, but gets smothered under the sensation of the beer frothing into creamy suds inside the mouth. Later, a pleasant fruity/spicy profile emerges, orange and lemon citrus, cinnamon, a little prickle of cloves, but by this point we’re into the finish. The parts are nice, but don’t come together harmoniously.

On tap, billed as Erdinger Oktoberfest. I was misled by the menu, expecting a marzen, and I got this. Yellow-orange color with a big white head. Not really hoppy at all; easy to drink. This would be a good crowd-pleaser.

50 cL bottle as Oktoberfest Weissbier. Pours hazy golden orange with a huge and creamy off-white head. Aroma is of wheat and somewhat malty. Creamy texture. Flavour is wheaty with a decent caramel malt base. Dry wheaty notes but not really with esters as such as the caramel/biscuit malt seems to take that out. Medium dry finish.
