Oktoberfest, bottle. Pours cloudy orange, with decent head, which endures for a little while. Quite citrusy on the nose, but disappointingly insipid on the palate. Not the best of hefes.

Bottle. Cinimon candy aroma. Dark golden body with off white head. Flavor was mostly malt and grain with some spice in the mix to keep things interesting. Little metalic aftertaste on palate and some sticky chalk.

10.23.09 While this was a decent weizen it didnt see to be so far off from standard Erdinger weizen so I’m not sure what was with the whole Fest thing.

Labelled as Oktoberfest Weissbeir. Aroma of sweet grainy wheat, some banana. Starts lightly sweet with a touch of hop bitterness turning more bland toward a thinner smooth finish.

A hazy golden weizen with a thick white head. In aroma, light bananas, cloves, and lemon. In mouth, a nice light banana, creamy, a bit of an oily mouthfeel, lighter bodied. 500 mLbottle from Carrefour, Bogota, 7600 COP (or about 4$). Tasted Nov. 14 2009.

Cloudy straw yellow color with a a white carbonated yet soapy head. Aroma of fruit and caramel. Not too much aroma. Flavor of caramel, fruit-hints of banana, lemon, and some wheat. Decent.

11.2oz bottle served in a shaker pint. Bottle conditioned. Lots of carbonation which is typical for the style. Poured a hazy gold with two fingers of white head. Nose is pretty restrained. Some wheaty malt and a little bit of banana. Nice creamy mouthfeel. Solid base of malt with a hint of banana in the finish. Flavor is a little on the bland side. Very drinkable though, refreshing.

0.5 L Bottle with dancing bavarian couple on the label. Lightly hazy, deep golden color with frothy white head. Nice fruity scent with slight elderberry and vanilla feel. Rounded, fruity, malty-based flavor with mild grassy hops at the end. Medium body with oily texture. Tasty fest-wheat!
