Commercial Description:
With a slightly darker color and slightly higher alcohol content than the classic ERDINGER Weissbier 'with fine yeast', the 'winter brew' offers a really pleasant change at the coldest time of the year, a time when we like to treat ourselves to something special. Available between November and February.

Quite memorable to me, it counts among my absolute favourite beers. Lovely orangey, slgihtly richer than typical hefe colour and typical thick foamy hefe head. Properly described by others, I find its smoothness and slightly lighter flavouring makes it one of the most drinkable hefes on the globe. 3 cheers for Erdinger!

Bottle 0,5l. Orange-brown colored. Unclear. A shortlived fluffy head. Bland aroma with fruity hints. Not much flavor. Some bitterness. Not so sweet as a typical Hefeweizen but a dull imprerssion. Nice winterly label.

From LIC, Aarhus, DK. Bottled, 300608. Orange - white head. Aroma weak of malt and citric fruit. Flavor is sweet malty with yeast notes of banana and cloves.

Thanks to ghawener. Drank it during Eurocup Final 2008. Sorry ghawener. An average hefewiezen, not very memorable.
