Aroma of light roasted malt with light caramel and light banana aftertaste. Taste is mostly dominated by some roasted malt with a light bitter finish and some light fruity notes also noticeable. Average body with good carbonation. OK but again a style that really doesn’t appeal to me that much.

Agaguk (119), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 19, 2009 Bottle. A murky, very dark brown with a very full and lasting, fluffy beige head; sticky, scattered lacing. Delicate chocolate and banana aromas. Clean and smooth mouthfeel after the initial fizziness subsides. A liquorice and alcohol flavour profile. Sweet and refreshing, without much in the way of a noticeable wheat taste. A crisp and hoppy bitter finish, though short. EFC1878 (292), Manchester, Greater Manchester, England

Little aroma or, for that matter, flavour. A little sweet and a decent light palate. Uncomplicated beer. Not great, not bad. nate2g (1073), Brisbane, Australia
