Sep 25, 2008 500ml bottle. BB 02.09. Pours a nice foamy offwhite head atop a hazy cola body.
Not alot on the nose, biscuity nutty sort of malt, a touch of floral hop in there and breadiness.
Lively carbonation, smooth full mouthfilling body with a creaminess about it. Slightest hint of astrigency and acid along with a drying on the finish.
Nutty malt on the body bring some sweetness, touch of roastiness, dark fruits in there; plums and ripe cherry, possibly some overripe banana, spice lends some balance to the flavour, nice vanilla and clove. Finish is a bit subdued, lingering breadiness.
A reasonably nice dark wheat beer, probably a bit too dark for its own good.
